Multisynq

Multisynq is a decentralized synchronization protocol built to power real-time, multi-user experiences across apps and games — without requiring developers to write server or networking code.

What Multisynq Does

  • Moves the complexity of multiplayer networking off centralized servers and into a distributed network of “synchronizers” : lightweight nodes that coordinate deterministic computations across clients.

  • All game/app state logic runs on the client side, but stays perfectly synced across participants. This gives privacy, low latency, and scalability without central servers.

  • Developers simply use the @multisynq/client library (or similar SDKs) to join sessions, define synchronized models, and build views — no netcode or backend infrastructure needed.

Key Benefits & Properties

  • Low Cost & Easy Setup : because there’s no central server, operational cost and infrastructure burden drop dramatically.

  • Scalability & Incentives : individuals can run synchronizers (called “Synqers”) using excess bandwidth or compute, contributing to the network and earning rewards.

  • Seamless Developer Experience : whether you’re building a multiplayer game, collaborative tool, or real-time app, Multisynq lets you focus on features rather than synchronization infrastructure.

  • Composable & AI-Native : Multisynq positions itself as the application layer of the internet, enabling human + AI + IoT interactions in real time.

Use Cases & Deployments

  • “Foothold”, a browser game built on Multisynq, showcases how synchronization allows multiple players to interact in real time in a shared virtual space.

  • The Unity integration shows how Multisynq is being adopted for more advanced game development environments.

Why Multisynq Matters

In many parts of the web today, real-time, multiplayer experiences remain niche or expensive. Multisynq’s vision is to democratize synchronized interactivity — letting every app become instantly shared, every user a collaborator, and every developer free from networking infrastructure overhead. As real-time on the web becomes the norm, Multisynq could be the missing protocol that makes it seamless, cheap, and decentralized.
