Overview
The Dymension project introduces an innovative blockchain network called “The Internet of RollApps,” featuring a combination of RollApps (layer 2) and the Dymension Hub (layer 1).
RollApps, modular blockchains that easily integrate with the Dymension Hub, offer enhanced security, liquidity, and connectivity. Dymension aims to simplify and economically sustain crypto applications, standardizing rollups through the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC).
This approach facilitates secure chain communication and replaces less secure, centralized bridges with IBC-connected rollups, ensuring fund security. Additionally, the Dymension Hub supports an embedded liquidity layer for asset management, while RollApps use external blockchains for data publication, fostering a competitive data market. Dymension’s infrastructure focuses on enhancing crypto UX, streamlining deployment and user interactions within the ecosystem.
