Forty Two

Forty Two is building what might be the future of AI: a decentralized swarm of specialized models working together in harmony. Rather than relying on one giant monolithic model, Forty Two reimagines the “mixture of experts” architecture by turning each expert into its own node in the network, enabling Swarm Inference.

How It Works

• When a query enters the network, multiple nodes independently respond and cross-check results. The swarm then evaluates and merges responses to produce a final, trustworthy output.

• The network self-evolves: it generates domain-specific datasets, from which new models are trained and added back into the swarm, steadily increasing the system’s knowledge and accuracy.

• Running on Monad, the swarm scales naturally: adding more nodes means more intelligence and capacity.

One of the flagship models already trained is Strand-Rust-Coder-14B, a model specialized in Rust coding, developed from synthetic datasets and open sourced for the community.
